Perhaps best known for her work with ESPN on the X-Games and in NASCAR, Jamie Little tells the classic American story of starting out as a wild child, working hard and getting a few breaks to become one of the most well known names in motorsports reporting.
The super cool thing about Jamie is that A: she doesn't like anyone telling her what to do, which makes her about 10 times cooler than she otherwise already is, and B: she doesn't mind working REALLY hard to get what she wants. Oh, and she wrote a damn good book on how to work on your car called Essential Car Care for Women.
In this episode we bring on former policeman and Marine (we won't hold it against him) Steve as a co-host and talk with Jamie about busting your ass, riding horses, raising kids who won't be wimps, and, at 49:20 the story of the dead racing pigeon I found on the nearest street corner.
As always, it's good clean livin' and some sailor-like language. Dig it! If you're an iTunes podcasting fan you can find the Paleo Treats Podcast here.
Nik Hawks helps run the show at Paleo Treats. Fascinated by humans in all their strange glory, Nik is harnessed in and pulling hard in pursuit of excellence with the rest of the PT Crew. Enjoy!
