Eat the Yolks book review

I just finished up reading through Liz Wolfe's new book, Eat the Yolks, and really dug the straightforward writing.
eat the yolks paleo treats book review
The conversationalist tone is easy to read and is balanced with enough scientific references to keep you busy if you're a hound for paleo info.  Liz has a very practical approach to this thing we call the paleo diet; if you eat it and it works for you, you're probably on the right track.  It's not a guarantee, but it's a damn good guideline, and much better for you than a rigid list of foods that are either right or wrong. She also offers up a bunch of Paleo myth busting :  Why would you eat Paleo when caveman died young?  What about those archeological digs where they found ancient bread?  Did you read that study about Paleo being a sham? etc., in a way that's easy to read and understand. Finally, if you're unclear about the (un)importance of counting calories, the health benefits of fats and oils, the biggest indicator that a vegan diet ain't the best for you (it has to do with sex, might want to pay attention), and how Paleo positively affects your hormones, blood sugar, and nutrient uptake but don't want to go to sleep slogging through a jargon filled scientific study, Eat the Yolks is an excellent and easy read explaining the salient points of Paleo. Enjoy!
